After completing his 13-month program at Teen Challenge, we celebrate our friend Scotty Jerko as he looks forward to a new drug and alcohol-free life. With the help of La Mesa, Scotty entered the Teen Challenge on May 1, 2019 and graduated on Wednesday June 10, 2020. And what a journey it has been!
We are so proud of who Scotty has become. He is a new man in Christ and his life has been forever changed. We look forward to being able to share Scotty’s testimonial on how the Lord Jesus Christ and Teen Challenge helped him to change his life. Upon graduation, with the support of La Mesa’s generous partners, we were able to provide him with housing, furniture, and food. We are now working on getting him steady employment.

HOUSING
La Mesa and our partner Broadway Park Apartments set Scotty up with his own apartment in Tempe. Your support provided his security deposit along with his first month’s rent ,while Broadway Park Apartments gave him a reduced monthly rental rate. Thank you so much!
FOOD
On Thursday June 11th, La Mesa partner Resurrection Street Ministry provided Scotty with enough food to fill up his refrigerator and panty for a month. Thanks to Bill Berry and his team for their abundant generosity. FURNITURE
On Friday June 12th Scotty was blessed by La Mesa partner, Furnishing Dignity. Scotty’s apartment was completely furnished including furniture, beddings, linens, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cups, a coffee pot, a crock pot and a microwave. La Mesa provided Scotty with a donated big screen TV. We encourage your support of Furnishing Dignity with all your unwanted home furnishing.
